Video Storytelling as a Service

Video has become one of the most powerful communication tools in modern organizations, but many companies struggle to sustain its use for internal and external information sharing, brand positioning, and storytelling.

To demonstrate a new time-efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable approach to corporate communications called Video Storytelling as a Service (VSaaS), Crash Cat Media Group is partnering with corporate communications strategist and storyteller Dave Schuellerman to offer one company a complimentary VSaaS pilot engagement valued at over $24,000.

This pilot project engagement will be awarded through a request-for-proposal (RFP) process that’s open to North American manufacturing and service companies that want to explore and discover the business value of video storytelling, while helping us refine our VSaaS offering.

Key Dates

  • RFP responses due by 5 p.m. (EST) on May 15, 2026

  • VSaaS pilot participant selected by June 1, 2026

  • Pilot engagement targeted for June-August 2026

What to Expect as the Pilot Participant

The selected company will participate in a five-day collaborative storytelling process designed to uncover authentic stories inside their organization. These five days will be spread over a period of weeks based on your schedule–not sequentially in the same week.

Day 1: Onsite Discovery – Business overview discussion with your senior leaders and communicators about your company’s competitive landscape, value proposition, messaging, communication goals, and story opportunities, plus a facility tour to help us learn more and scout for the visuals we'll capture during onsite production.

Day 2: Studio Pre-Production – Crash Cat and Dave Schuellerman develop the interview structure and visual approach.

Day 3: Onsite Production – Filming at your facility, including: (1) a leadership conversation/interview guided by Dave Schuellerman; (2) filming selected facility visuals and workplace moments; and (3) still photography and visual assets.

Day 4: Studio Post-Production – Assembly of the conversation and visuals into a polished but authentic video asset.

Day 5: Studio Presentation and Delivery – In-studio meeting to review the finished video asset and discuss your client experience.

This VSaaS pilot project is intentionally designed to capture a raw and authentic style of storytelling through:

  • Genuine leadership conversations

  • Real workplace visuals

  • Minimal editorial shaping

  • Authentic storytelling over scripted messaging

Think of your final film as a leadership conversation with cinematic support that’s formatted for YouTube, internal communication, and social channels. It won’t be an overly polished marketing piece. The goal is to create a useful long-form storytelling asset that can (1) stand alone for immediate use and (2) be segmented for further communication in the year ahead through our VSaaS offering.

VSaaS Pilot Engagement Deliverables

As the VSaaS pilot engagement participant, your company will receive:

  • One completed on-brand video storytelling asset

  • Additional content segments that can be used on social media

  • Expansive visual material suitable for internal communications

  • Full ownership of the delivered media

What Do We Gain Giving Away $24,000 in Services?

We will realize immediate and continuous improvement of our VSaaS process and offering. Supporting your corporate storytelling through this pilot engagement will also sharpen the story of innovation that we’re shaping with VSaaS:

  • Video storytelling won’t bust your budget when you think beyond the typical single-purpose video production

  • VSaaS from Crash Cat makes corporate video storytelling time-efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable
